-If the sounds of dental tools bother you, it’s best to bring a portable audio player with you to your appointment. Then, you can listen to music and you won’t hear the tools that are improving your oral health.
-Avoid drinking caffeine before your appointment. Caffeine tends to increase your heart rate and make your anxiety worse.
-Try to eat protein-rich foods before your visit. These products produce a calming effect and they help reduce anxiety and nervousness.
